Billing questions
Can I pay yearly?
Yes, and it is 20% cheaper: Solo €182 per year instead of €228, Agency €470 per year instead of €588. Use the monthly/yearly switch at the top of this page.
Do I need a credit card to try Pro?
No. The 14-day Pro trial starts from inside the extension, on your first PDF export, with no card details. When it ends, the installation simply returns to the free tier — nothing is charged, nothing is lost.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your register stays entirely in your browser, and the free features (detection, records, CSV/JSON exports) keep working. Only the proof features (Article 30 PDF, DPA reminders, history, white-label) close. No data is lost.
How are payments processed?
Through Stripe Checkout. RoPA Pilot never sees your card number: the backend only stores an opaque licence key and a Stripe customer id. No email address is required on the extension side.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, at any time from the Stripe billing portal. Solo → Agency is immediate and Stripe handles proration.
Is there a commitment?
None on monthly plans: cancel in one click from the billing portal. The yearly plan covers 12 months.
Is the price per user?
No, it is per installation. Solo covers one organisation, Agency up to ten — useful for external DPOs managing several clients from the same browser.
Invoices and VAT?
Stripe issues the invoice automatically, with the VAT applicable to your country and your EU VAT number if provided at checkout.
