RoPA Pilot

Terms of use and sale

Version of 2026-07-10

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the RoPA Pilot browser extension, of the https://ropapilot.leandro-sierra.com website and of the associated paid subscriptions. Using the extension or the website constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Publisher

RoPA Pilot is published by Leandro Sierra, sole trader. Contact: contact@leandro-sierra.com. Full details on the Legal notice page.

3. Description of the service

RoPA Pilot is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that recognises the SaaS services used, based on the domain name of open tabs, and helps build a record of processing activities within the meaning of Article 30 GDPR. Register data is stored locally in the user's browser.

RoPA Pilot is a compliance aid, not legal advice. Catalog information (vendor, hosting, transfer mechanism, DPA link) is indicative, sourced from public information, and may change without notice. The user remains solely responsible for the accuracy of the register and for verifying their own contracts.

4. Free and paid tiers

The free tier includes unlimited SaaS detection, unlimited processing records, CSV and JSON exports, the compliance score and transfer alerts. It has no time limit and requires no account.

Paid tiers (Solo: €19 per month or €182 per year; Agency: €49 per month or €470 per year, excluding applicable taxes) add the watermark-free Article 30 PDF export, DPA tracking with reminders, the disclosure generator, timestamped history and — for Agency — ten organisations and the white-label register.

A 14-day trial of the Solo tier is available once per installation, without a payment card. At its end, the installation returns to the free tier with no charge and no data loss.

5. Payment, term, cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe. The publisher never has access to card data. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time from the Stripe billing portal, taking effect at the end of the current period. Yearly subscriptions cover twelve months.

Under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, consumers waive their right of withdrawal upon immediate access to digital content supplied on an intangible medium. Business customers have no right of withdrawal.

6. User obligations

The user agrees not to circumvent the licence's technical measures, not to resell access, and not to use the extension to monitor the activity of individuals without their knowledge. The extension is designed to map an organisation's tools, not to monitor people.

7. Availability and liability

The extension works offline: its availability depends on no server. The licence backend may be temporarily unavailable; in that case the last known licence status remains valid within a bounded window, then falls back to the free tier. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages, in particular an administrative penalty resulting from an incomplete or inaccurate register.

The publisher's total liability is in any event limited to the amounts actually paid by the user over the last twelve months.

8. Intellectual property

The extension code, the SaaS catalog, the website texts and the RoPA Pilot brand remain the property of the publisher. The register created by the user belongs entirely to the user and is never transmitted to the publisher.

9. Personal data

Data processing is described in the privacy policy. In short: the extension transmits nothing; the website only collects an email address if you voluntarily provide one; payments are handled by Stripe.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, disputes are brought before the competent courts. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
